THE STYLE COCKTAIL|A DELICIOUS MIX OF BRANDED AND THRIFT.

SoSpa at Sofitel | Review

It's been too long that I have written anything here, I visited SoSpa at Sofitel BKC and it definitely deserves a full length blog post.
I was welcomed by stunning interiors and a very warm and friendly staff.
After the initial consultation and filling out a questionnaire which had questions concerning my skin and hair type and my daily skin care routine, I decided to go for the Shea Nurturing Spa and everything that followed was truly relaxing and blissful.

ABOUT SHEA NURTURING TREATMENT
It is a collection of their signature techniques to best target individual needs. Relaxing light strokes ease stress, deep tissue pressure release muscular tension, revitalizing strokes and hot stones boost energy. Combined with the nourishing and repairing properties of Shea butter, this unique sequence leaves skin soft and body deeply replenished.

The products used were from L'occitane, it sure is one of my favourite skin care brand.
Using Shea butter for your massages has great benefits for dry and cracked skin.
Shea butter has been shown to have anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

It also contains vitamins A and E, as well as catechins.

My 60 Minutes Treatment started with a treatment room that would automatically soothe your senses. It's a complete sensory experience, before you enter the treatment room there's a beautiful art installation that feels like falling droplets of golden rain. The golden theme continues in your individual room with soft lights and furnishings. Each room is equipped with a shower and dressing area.

My masseuse, Ann, was a magician. As the massage progressed I could feel the stress slowly melt away and I was falling in a relaxed trance as she skillfully proceeded with the massage. The soothing sounds of nature accompanied with music was a plus. In the questionnaire I had mentioned having strained neck and shoulder area and Ann focused on getting rid of those painful knots which develop overtime as we stress or work at the desk too much. The head massage was very relaxing too.

My treatment ended with a quick hot shower and some green tea.
One can opt for cranberry juice too. But hey you know I love my teas.

I would definitely recommend this experience to you, a great way to de-stress and unwind with nourished skin at the end of the treatment.

Love,
SAILY
