THE STYLE COCKTAIL|A DELICIOUS MIX OF BRANDED AND THRIFT.

What to Wear to College Festivals?

There's no denying that festivals are the best part of college life.
Everything about them is vibrant, energetic and yes magical.
And so many days go in prepping up for various activites, programs
and the most important one,
WHAT DO I WEAR?

Well here are some tips according to me to look your best during these youthful events.

KEEP IT COMFY.
Comfortable dressing is absolute must as you are going to be all over the place,
taking part in various activities and dancing the night away.
I have learnt it through experience that a mini dress surely will look hot, but you won't be enjoying the event bothering about how high it's rising!

GOTHIC CHIC
2014 is all about Gothic & Grunge,
and what better than comfy denim shorts, a crop top and a flannel shirt to tie around.
You won't go wrong with it!

PRINTS!
Who does prints better than the college-goers, right?
Pick one up that reflects your personality or pick a sassy quote that speaks your mind.
Remember the trick lies in blending it with your personality. Else it's just another printed tee!

KEEP THE MAKE-UP LIGHT
After all the running around you do,
you don't wanna look streaked & cakey!
Keep the layers to minimum and keep it fresh.

STATEMENT ACCESSORIES
If you have chosen some safe options like a LBD or a maxi dress,
no worries darling.
Make statement accessories your BFFs, they can pimp up the look instantly! Yea thank me later. ;)

SAY NO TO HEELS!
Again from my disastrous experience, I tell you, keep your shiny heels at home. They eithet trip, break, spoil ot give you cramps while you are enjoying your dance.
Wedges are a safer option!

And all those who are still waiting to attend such college fests
check out your options at CollegeDunia.
It's a one stop shop for all the information you need about colleges in India.
Wondering how NIFT Delhi will be for me? ;)

Everyone else, enjoy the festive season.
Do send in your photos if you have tried any of the above.
Would love to see it. :)
